Chelsea FC target Paulinho has stated that he wants to stay at Corinthians

Premier League news hint at some deals failing through the time. In Arsenal transfer news, Gunners fans will continue witnessing the stand-off between Theo Walcott and Arsenal FC bosses despite the winger returning to the side for the Reading game. Walcott is reported to reject the Gunners offer for renewal of his contract and is unlikely to reconsider the offer.

In other Arsenal transfer news, Arsene Wenger might be hearing some good news as Jack Wilshere is reported to sign a contract for wearing the colours of the Emirates stadium for another five years. Aaron Ramsey is also close to signing a deal with the club while the Gunners plan to take up contracts for Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

In Chelsea transfer news, the Blues might have to give up their chase of Corinthians midfielder, Paulinho, as the player has stated his intentions of staying at his present club. The Brazilian player cleared the air after his name was linked to a possible transfer move to Stamford Bridge. Paulinho has become one of the most-watched talent on the football field.

Talking about the transfer, Paulinho said, “I’m staying at Corinthians, much has been said of possible outputs of conversations, but I did not know anything concrete out Inter Milan, which everyone already knows.” The mid-fielder had earlier rejected a proposal from Inter Milan for a transfer move.

In Liverpool transfer news, the Reds will have to shell out more than £6 million for Birmingham goalkeeper, Jack Butland as the club looks to retain the player by placing him at a higher transfer price. Everton is also in the race for signing the stopper during the January transfer window.
