Premier League transfer stories are doing the rounds

Premier League transfer stories are reeling in some major transfers to the premier clubs. In Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners are struggling to provide Theo Walcott with a contract of his liking. Walcott has nine months left on his present contract with two rounds of negotiations already exhausted without any result.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea also have their eyes on the Arsenal winger for the January transfer window. Walcott has expressed his desire to renew his contract for a chance to play at his favoured position of striker, but Arsene Wenger is reluctant in meeting the demands of the winger. If Theo fails to renew the contract till November, Arsenal FC might put him up for sale.

In Liverpool transfer news, the Anfield side might be hopeful of signing HJC Helsinki striker, Joel Pohjanpalo as he revealed his interest in playing for the Reds after turning down their contract in last August. Liverpool FC offered the striker a three year contract after a one week trial run in March 2012.

The striker disclosed his intentions in a TV interview as he said, “I don’t know where I’ll be playing next season, but it’s my dream to play for Liverpool FC one day.” The striker has been hailed as the new Jari Litmanen, who is Finland’s all time top goal scorer. January will tell whether his dream turns into a reality or not.

In Manchester United transfer news, the Old Trafford side is monitoring Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, Lars Bender, who has been a strong performer for his side. Bayern Munich have already made an attempt to sign Bender, but were turned down by Leverkusen.
