Premier League transfer stories hint towards some big transfers in January

Premier League transfer stories are bound to grow as the weekend approaches. In Liverpool transfer news, the Reds seem to pounce on the opportunity left by Birmingham as they fail to give a desirable contract to Nathan Redmond. The England U-19 star is reportedly frustrated with the deal offered to him by his club and is looking for a new deal during the January transfer window.

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have also been observing Redmond and plan to make the most of this opportunity. In other Liverpool news, Brendan Rodgers stated that at the moment he was not thinking of bringing Andy Carroll back from West Ham despite Liverpool FC playing Luis Suarez in every game depriving him of the much-needed rest.

In Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners might face competition from Juventus as the stakes go higher in the signing of Fernando Llorente. Juventus is targeting the Athletic Bilbao striker by offering a long-term £145,000-a-week contract. Shawcross has been on the radar of many Premier League clubs including Chelsea and Tottenham.

In Manchester City transfer news, Roberto Mancini is planning ambitious transfers according to the reports. Manchester City is looking to acquire Sergio Busquets and Cesc Fabregas during the January transfer window.
