In Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners might be looking to ship-off forward, Andrei Arshavin during the next window to Zenit St. Petersburg. The 31-year-old player transferred to the Gunners from the Russian side in 2009 for £12 million. Arshavin has not performed well according to the standards set by him previously.
The striker’s contract with Arsenal expires in the summer and it is reported that that the Gunners would be willing to accept a reduced transfer fee of around £3 million.
