London Met University relicensed to admit limited foreign students a year
The London Met University has been authorised by the Home Office again to admit and teach overseas students, which is certain to be welcomed by the foreign students, who desire to accomplish their post-graduation from British universities. The London Met University’s permit to sponsor non-European Union students was contentiously cancelled in August 2012, which left several students of the university dismayed and bereft of courses. The Home Office has, however, informed that the London Met University continues to be in a probationary condition, with its overseas student recruitment being restricted. The probationary condition will last 12 months.
As per the Home Office, the London Met University had been granted the license again to admit foreign students as the academic institution had made the necessary enhancements to its watching of students’ attendance and immigration status. The Home Office had conducted a sequence of inspections at the London Met University over the preceding six months. The university now satisfied the criteria needed to sponsor global students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It had appropriate procedures now for appointing and assessing global students.
