Ex-Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou, currently striking it for Lille and having 8 goals in the kitty, is looking forward to return to England and he’s serious. With Cardiff City FC making a consideration on his name for the opening summer signing, the 27-year-old Salomon Kalou might well be there joining the Bluebirds at the Premier League. Cardiff City are up for their maiden participation in the Premier League in 2013-14 already winning the promotional game.
Drawing at home to Charlton Athletic, Cardiff City have stamped the top position for the next season as well. As per media reports from France, the Bluebirds will be kick-starting to spend for the Ivory Coast’s sturdy forward Salomon Kalou at the end of this season’s campaign. Kalou had 156 appearances for Chelsea during 2006-12. And since then he has been with Lille. However, his swap from Chelsea to Lille hasn’t been successful as he’s struggling to find his way with the French club.
During a news conference Salomon Kalou admitted that he would love to fly back to England. He said that he spent six seasons there and he’s going crazy about the big bash- the Premier League. He also said that one never knows what is on the cards for tomorrow. Careers can take drastic turns.
Salomon Kalou’s agents are said to be working hard on getting him transferred for the next season and definitely Cardiff City may get him soon with the kind of desperation they are putting up for him. Kalou was previously linked with Arsenal, but it’s thought that the Gunners have now dropped their interest.
