Michael Duncan – An inspiration to many people

Hollywood is mourning the death of Michael Clarke Duncan, the star who passed away at 54, suffering heart ailments after the heart attack in July. He climbed the ladder of fame in 1999 after an Oscar nomination for his acting prowess in The Green Mile.

The star appeared in over 50 films and was also a part of box office cash ringers like Armageddon, Planet Of The Apes and Kung Fu Panda. Michael Duncan was known as Big Mike, the gentle giant as he was associated with a huge physical structure.

Michael’s fiancé, Omarosa, was devastated at the death of The Green Mile star. She said, “I’m devastated. He was the love of my life.”

Michael was known for his break out roles in Hollywood. Hollywood stars have been posting their condolences on social platforms for the family of Michael.

Tom Hanks, Michael’s co-star in The Green Mile, said, “He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned.”

Green Mile director, Frank Darabont, said that the sadness he felt was inexpressible. He Said, “Our experience making The Green Mile together was immersive and incredible, a once-in-a-lifetime journey. What sticks most in my mind was his devotion to his craft and the strides he made as an artist during that time, which was beyond inspiring to those of us who took the journey with him.”

Michael Duncan also had his share of limelight on television by appearing on shows like Chuck, Bones, The Finder. And Two and a Half Men.

Michael Clarke Duncan’s life story is a classic example of rags to riches.
